SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services on the community.
SASSA will be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency reported it's alarmed about the substantial range of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The aim from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is certainly due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office devoted to sassa status check service the area on a sassa status check daily basis. The service issue established for intervention ordeals a significant influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who visit a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to allow the servicing of all clients and increase usage of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
